SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing activities within the manufacturing process including; cleaning, assembly, finishing, and packaging. These processes include the operation of equipment which support these activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Hand debur of metal and plastic parts
• Operation of polishing and debur equipment
• Hand cleaning of metal and plastic parts
• Operation of cleaning equipment
• Assembly of metal and plastic components using hand tools and fixtures
• Assembly of packaging materials including; boxes, plastic trays, and labels
• Operation of packaging equipment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or AA degree Preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
